This time we visited the SM-REFUGIUM” which is located in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt area. The review is based on our 3-nights stay in December 2025.
SM-REFUGIM @ FetischHaus Wiesbaden - Our Experience
After placing the reservation and paying the full price in advance we got the address via email.
Sadly there is no booking calendar online, so you have to contact them via email to check possible dates.
The FetischHaus Wiesbaden offers 3 apartments, all located within an industrial zone in Wiesbaden. You can book the apartments only for some hours or for several nights. We decided to stay for 3 nights while the Christmas holidays.
There are free parking lots included, directly in front of the door (giving motel vibes). No stairs – easy unloading the car.
When we arrived a man welcomed us and showed us the pin code for the door, and explained a bit about the apartment – for example how to connect the phone to the sound-system or how to turn off the lights.
It is pretty noticeable that the SM-REFUGIUM is not a normal apartment but moreover a party location. All 3 apartments of the FetischHaus Wiesbaden can be connected together when opening some intermediate doors. While renting of corse they are locked.
But the most special thing is the bar which is in the main room, and the disco lights.
It gives you something like an exclusive private party ambient vibes. Like you have had fun all night, the other guests are slowly leaving, the disco is closing and you are one of the last person to leave.
The funny thing is, there are no normal light switches. You have to turn off the full electricity at a switch board to shut down all the lights. But yes then you shut down – ALL the lights including the music and anything else in there.
All over the SM-Refugium is one hell of a big room with lots of furniture. A huge and comfortable bondage bed with a cage underneath, a andreas cross, some bondage chairs etc. – lots of things to explore. Sadly some of them where not fully functional – like missing screws or not possible to use the restraints as its meant to be.
What we really liked was the wide open space. Many apartments often do put the furniture close together to give you maximum variety but in the same time you always bumb into things or have to look out where to put your stuff.
We never had that problem in SM-Refugium. In the entrance there is a small medical area with a gynecologist chair, and next to it a kitchen as well as a separated toilet and two-person-shower. Overall the apartment could have been more tidy, but it was okayish. We enjoyed that they provided many towels – especially when you want to dry latex clothing this is very helpful.
To be honest, the kitchen was a major disappointment. Of course we are not in the apartment to cook a huge dinner, but for 3 nights we at least would like to make some breakfast or fast snacks in between. There wasn’t even a pan, or knifes when we arrived.
Gladly the man was helpful and instantly brought as some tools to use.
Our highlight was the whirlpool at the private terrace area – but keep in mind it needs to be booked extra for a additional charge.
What we liked
- Parking directly in front of the door - easy access
- Private terrace with strong whirlpool
- Wide open room with lots of space
- Coffee, Tea included
- Bluetooth music system easy to connect, good sound
- Very comfortable bondage bed
- Special ambient with disco lights
What we didn't liked
- Could have been cleaner, too dusty
- Furniture not fully working
- Kitchen was missing lots of basic tools
- No light switches, have to turn off full electricity
