Am I too big / too fat for wearing Latex?

Blog Thumbnail with a Latex girl, trying a transparent purple latex blouse. Next to her is the text "Too fat for Latex".

Easy and fast answer: NO YOU ARE NOT.

Not convinced?

Make yourself comfortable, cause within the next minutes I’ll show you.

Every body can wear latex

Why do I know that? Cause I am fat, plus-size – call it whatever you want. And well I can proudly say I am pretty successful WITH wearing latex.

#litteshow-off #sorrynotsorry

I store nearly all my body fat at my belly/hips. My boobies are in love with Newton, my skin …

HEY stop the “yes BUT I…” – that doesn’t help you! Focus:

You’ll probably know as much as I do how hard it is to not fit within the beauty standards in a body shaming society. And let’s not start talking about pretty privilege.

In the eyes of many people fattys should cover themself, hide, change, be fitter, be thinner – what is the ultimate goal?

Back to the topic:

Why Latex will look good on you:

First things first, anything will look better, when you know how to style it, how to combine things.

And yes of course there is the lovely thing called “confidence” but sadly it does not magically appear just by journaling, affirmation, thinking of it. It is always easier said (or thought) than done.

I tell you a little secret:

You cannot learn how to swim,
without jumping in the water!

And sometimes that means you have to work WITH the problem instead of trying to fix it.

Don’t get me wrong I am definitely not the one to tell you to cover up or whatever:
I rather give you tools to work WITH your body and your existing mindset, then only fighting for change. And with time, with actually doing it – the negative self-imagine will fade away by itself.

Do it scared. Do it with doubt. Do it anyways.

Imagine: You are not happy with your loose skin? Some coach may advice you too just embrace it. Haha “just”. Tried it, it hasn’t worked. Another coach: Baggy clothing, just cover everything, be happy that you find any clothing at all. Looks horrible, you feel even worse.

So new idea: Dressing up, finding your style, that perfectly shows your features and hides whatever you don’t want to show.

Aaaand here comes the best part – Latex and its unique features is really helpful.

So what are you waiting for?

I see you. I feel you. It is uncomfortable, it is hard – but regretting is harder.

Welcome outside of the comfort zone but congratulations you will find a new comfort zone with your own, sexy, shiny style. Give it a try – what is the worst that could happen?
